The detail
What is never refundable
Government visa fees, once an application has been lodged — that money has left us and the consulate does not return it. Airline tickets already issued on non- refundable fares, and hotel nights inside a hotel's own non-cancellable window, are refundable only to the extent the airline or hotel refunds us.
Hajj and Umrah
Once a Saudi visa is issued against your name, the visa and its associated fees cannot be refunded or transferred. Ministry quotas are allocated per group, so a cancellation inside thirty days of a Ramadan departure is charged in full whatever the reason.
If we cancel
If we cancel a departure for any reason other than force majeure, you get a full refund including the deposit, or a transfer to another departure with no fee. Where a government closes a route or a border, we refund everything we can recover from suppliers and charge no fee of our own.
How a refund reaches you
To the same account or card you paid from, within seven to fourteen working days of us agreeing the amount in writing. GST already paid to the government on a cancelled service is refunded only where the law allows us to reclaim it.
How to cancel
Email cancellations@sunrisetravels.example with your booking reference, or bring it in writing to the office. A telephone call is not a cancellation — we need it in writing so the date is not in dispute.
